Following several face shield donations to various medical institutions, Kia Motors has recently delivered Kia-produced face shields to Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Kia, which took the path of producing its own face shields at its assembly plant in West Point, Georgia, have been partnering with different organizations to widen its reach and ensure that it is able to execute its Accelerate the Good Program such as the face shield distribution to more than 60 hospitals in the country.

The face shield delivery to Howard University Hospital was a collaboration with Fit Fathers.

“Hospital CEO Anita Jenkins was very appreciative of the gifts and collaboration and the 2020 Telluride SX SUV was a hit with the hospital staffers," a release from Fit Fathers stated.

The Kia Telluride has recently been named the Best Large Utility vehicle at MotorWeek Drivers' Choice Awards and a winner of the Midwest Automotive Media Association’s (MAMA) 10th annual Family Vehicle of the Year award.
