Mitsubishi Motors North America, Inc. delivers more hope as it makes the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-In Hybrid Vehicle (PHEV) available to the Community Resource Center (CRC) for an additional six months.

The extension will facilitate more opportunities for CRC to help Middle Tennessee communities acquire the supplies they need.

The 2020 Outlander has been an instrument to providing relief supplies since the onslaught of the tornado in March and during this COVID-19 pandemic.

It has been used by CRC staff and volunteers to transfer goods to and from donation centers and CRC warehouses, according to PR Newswire.

Mitsubishi has also assisted CRC in delivering teacher PPE kits to the 135 schools in the Metro Nashville Public School system using 20 Mitsubishi vehicles.

"In a year when so much seems out of our control, Mitsubishi Motors is committed to doing what we can to make our Middle Tennessee community safer and stronger," MMNA Chief Operating Officer Mark Chaffin said. "The Community Resource Center has been at the heart of disaster response efforts since day one, and we are proud to continue supporting their important work with the reliability and efficiency of the Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV."
