Morgan Automotive Group has purchased two new dealership locations in Florida.

The automotive company acquired the Jim Browne Chrysler-Jeep-Dodge-Ram Tampa Bay and Jim Browne Chevrolet Tampa from dealer Jim Browne. The dealerships will be respectively renamed to CDJR of Tampa Bay and Morgan Chevrolet, the company's first store to use the Morgan name.

"We're excited that these stores will have a huge impact on the truck market in Tampa Bay," CEO Brett Morgan said, according to a Facebook post. "We're also looking forward to what General Motors is doing in the EV space. It's a great time for both brands and we're happy to be a part of it."

Both new locations were purchased in Tampa Bay as new additions to the Morgan Auto Group's domestic dealerships, according to Automotive News.

These new purchases signify locations No. 54 and 55 for the growing automotive dealership, as 23 of its dealerships are in the Tampa area.

Morgan Automotive Group is one of the largest privately-owned dealerships groups in the U.S. and is currently ranked No. 8 on the Automotive News' list of the top 150 dealership groups. Founded in 2005, the automotive company now represents 30 different brands across 53 dealerships around the state of Florida.
