American car racers Marc Miller and Mario Farnbacher took home second place at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach April 10.

The duo placed second after driving the "Chiaki's Journey" anime series by Acura car, according to an Acura press release.

"Long Beach is always tough, tough circuit," Miller said in the release. "After having a car that could have finished on the podium at both of the first two races this year [Daytona and Sebring], this proves that both Acura and the team belong here and deserve to be standing on the podium and spray champagne. We are really thankful to all the guys in Acura for helping us put this together at their home turf and we really would love to do more."

Other top 10 finishers include: #60 Tom Blomqvist and Oliver Jarvis Meyer in their Shank Racing Acura ARX-05 DPi finishing 4th overall; #10 Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque Wayne Taylor in their Gradient Racing Acura ARX-05 DPi finishing 6th overall; and #51 Aidan Read and Ryan Eversely in their Rick Ware Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo22 finishing 8th in the GTD division.

"The first of two temporary street course 'sprint' events on the IMSA (International Motor Sports Association) schedule, starting driver Miller and closer Farnbacher combined to gain four positions in their #66 NSX during the short event to record the second podium finish on a street circuit for Gradient Racing in IMSA competition, the first coming at Detroit last year," the release stated.
