After an extended absence, Chrysler’s Airflow model is back.

The Airflow battery-electric vehicle model concept is set to warm up the Stellantis Chrysler brand’s vision to launch its first battery-electric vehicle (BEV) by 2025.

The new Airflow BEV model concept is said to offer up to 400 miles of driving range, one of the notable features of the concept.

“[The Airflow] showcases our leading-edge electrified drive system technology,” Christine Feuell, Chrysler Brand CEO at Stellantis, said at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).

The Chrysler Airflow, which debuted at CES, has advanced safety technologies that demonstrate Chrysler’s safety culture and uses sustainable materials for its interior features. It is a crossover that is said to include Level 3 autonomous driving, also known as an “eyes off” system, according to Car and Driver. The previous Chrysler Airflow was a full-size car that was built in 1934.

The new Airflow was probably conceptualized to be similar to Ford Mustang Mach-E, Roadshow reported. Its exterior shows off a front light blade illuminated by an LED crystal lighting that underlines the brand’s wing logo.

Chrysler aims to have a full electrified portfolio by 2028.
