Three additional Porsche vehicle models are gaining access to the automaker's Porsche Track Precision App (PTPA), according to CarBuzz.

Porsche’s Cayenne SUV, Panamera sedan and Taycan EV models are receiving PTPA technology.

“Data analysis is an fundamental part of motorsport and can be a decisive factor in winning or losing,” Porsche brand ambassador Jörg Bergmeister said, according to a Porsche press release. “Using the Porsche Track Precision App, sports car drivers can improve their performance when driving on the circuit, while also documenting and plotting their success.”

PTPA is a digital driving coach that can help enhance person's driving skills by collecting and analyzing data.

Connected to the Porsche Communication Management system and the in-car Wi-Fi, PTPA is capable of obtaining and assessing lap time projections, speed, steering angle, vehicle position and lateral acceleration. This data, which can also be linked with smartphone recordings or action camera videos, can help further develop braking points or turn-in points.

The PTPA technology was already available in Porsche 718 and 911 models.
