Porsche added more paint color options to its paint personalization program.

The German automobile manufacturer -- specializing in high-performance sports cars, SUVs and sedans -- is now offering over 160 color choices as part of their Paint to Sample program, according to Motor Authority.

“Individualization is at the core of Porsche,” said Kjell Gruner, president and CEO of Porsche Cars North America, according to a Porsche news release on Nov. 29. “Customers have been making special requests to personalize their cars since our earliest model, the 356. Paint to Sample is integral in satisfying that demand. With this offering, we bring many historic colors back to life and expand the catalog to a total of more than 160 choices.”

The new color options will be available for every lineup of Porsche vehicles.

Porsche is able to increase the number of colors offered in vehicle customization due to a new color mixing bank in their Zuffenhausen factory in Germany.

There are over 100 added colors, apart from the standard offerings, which are available for the 911 and 718 models.
