For people who don't want to wait for the V-8 Raptor to be released, there is good news because Ford Performance has announced the launch of supercharger kits for the current F-150.

The kit has been subject to Ford's full validation testing, so as long as you run the required premium fuel, it should be about as reliable as the standard V-8, says the Ford Authority, according to Road & Track.

Ford Performance Parts supercharger will up the V-8 output to 700 horsepower and 590 pound-feet of torque, reported Car and Driver.

The kits will be available early in 2022 and are legal in all 50 states.

The kit will include a dual-pass inter-cooler system, along with the supercharger and other necessary hardware. Ford says it was tested with its 100,000-mile standards. Ford Authority reports that the kit is protected by a three-year/30,000-mile warranty if installed by a Ford dealer.
