The 2022 Range Rover will be the first new look seen in 10 years and will have a third-row seating option, along with other upgrades.

Its pack of innovative features includes a suspension that automatically lowers at highway speeds, having up to seven seats similar to its competitors, chassis innovation and removing the molding at the base of the windows.

The design is "clean, reductive and free from excessive line work," Jaguar Land Rover's chief creative officer, Gerry McGovern, told Car and Driver. “Range Rover is not about radical change for the sake of it. (The new one) is about taking out, not adding in."

The all-new Range Rover is the first in a decade to undergo a design change that includes a third-row seating option and a seven-seat preference that uses the long-wheelbase body style, which one in four customers had requested to be included in a new vehicle design.

The new design will also include a four-wheel drive with rear wheels capable of turning as much as seven degrees to decrease the turning circle to 36 feet.

Deliveries of the 2022 Range Rover will begin next spring and are now available for ordering. The 2023 Range Rover model will include a plug-in-hybrid six-cylinder engine, according to Car and Driver.
