Chevrolet unveiled its latest and biggest crate yet.

Chevrolet Performance launched its newest 10-liter crate motor that makes 1004HP.

"This is the biggest, baddest crate engine we've ever built," Director of the Performance and Racing Propulsion Team Russ O'Blenes said, according to MotorTrend. "The ZZ632 sits at the top of our unparalleled crate engine lineup as the king of performance. It delivers incredible power, and it does it on pump gas."

Apart from producing 1004 horsepower at 6,600 rpm, Chevy’s new big-block crate motor engine can produce 876 pound-feet of torque on pump gas at 5,600 rpm, Car and Driver reported. The engine relies on displacement alone, with a massive 10-liter (10,384 cc) capacity and a 632-cubic-inch engine.

Additionally, it boasts the following specifications: bore x stroke: 4.60 x 4.75 inches; compression ratio: 12.0:1; maximum recommended engine speed: 7,000 rpm; block: tall deck 632 bow tie sportsman, cast; cylinder heads: RS-X symmetrical port, CNC-machined aluminum; crankshaft: forged steel; connecting rods: forged steel; pistons: forged aluminum; fuel: electronic port injection.

All eight of the ZZ632 motor’s intake ports have the same length, volume and layout, and all exhaust ports also have symmetrical builds. The ZZ632/1000 crate engine will be featured at the 2021 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show in Las Vegas, Tuesday to Thursday, Nov. 2 to 5.
