An Indiana dealership has partnered with United Way of Wabash Valley to help the organization acquire more donations for its yearly fundraising efforts.

Terre Haute Chevrolet is providing one lucky winner with a $10,000 prize. United Way is on a mission to help 10,000 families work through financial struggles into a more financially secure situation as part of its Annual Community Resource Drive.

“We work out of our impact councils, and we have impact councils working on those barriers that prevent people from moving out of poverty. But then we also partner with a lot of our nonprofits in the community, which are on those councils and help us put together the programs and incentives that really do the majority of the work,” Danielle Isbell, United Way Director of Resource Development, told MyWabashValley.com.

Donations must be given by Friday, Dec. 31, for a chance to win with the drawing, which is being held in January 2022.

Donors can earn chances to win the incentive prize based on their level of support. Entries for the $10,000 cash drawing are earned through the following: Any returning donor at the same level or more receives one entry. Every $25 increment donation from a new donor receives two entries. Every $25 increment increase from a previous year donor over their last year’s gift receives two entries. An added bonus with any new or increased gift reaching $500 or more receives 20 additional entries.

Terre Haute Chevrolet’s general manager, Kevin Cauble, said that the dealership is proud of its longstanding relationship with United Way and pleased that it can offer an extra incentive to donors.

If your organization or business is interested in participating or you would like more information about getting involved, please contact Danielle Isbell at 812-235-6287 or disbell@uwwv.org, according to United Way of the Wabash Valley.
