The new Ford Maverick Lariat offers comfort, convenience and a unique style.

In fact, it has a classy interior, which was inspired by a pair of Levi's shoes.

Standard on the Maverick Lariat is its Desert Brown ActiveX premium vinyl seats. The color was an idea that came from a pair of shoes that were styled in rich navy with brown leather detailing and brown stitching, according to CarBuzz.

“We just did everything very differently than we traditionally would,” Jim Baumbick, Ford’s vice president of enterprise product line management, strategy, and planning, explained the unique production of the Ford Maverick, according to Ford Authority. “You couldn’t increment your way there.”

Rob Brancheau, the Maverick colors and materials designer, was out to lunch the day before the colors for the Maverick were to be decided, and while waiting for his order, he spotted the pair of Levi's shoes that inspired the color scheme in a clothing store next door, according to CarBuzz.

Lariat has a power eight-way adjustable driver's seat with a power lumbar driver and six-way adjustable manual passenger seat that are also finished in Navy Pier.

The Ford Maverick’s starting price is below $20,000, with the luxury Lariat trim starting at $25,490, according to CarBuzz. The Lariat also comes standard with a cabin particulate air filter, an acoustic windshield and a leather-wrapped steering wheel, among other features.
