The Baumann Auto Group in Northwest Ohio has donated a total of $30,000 to local organizations over the past three months to support their communities during these difficult times.

Despite the challenging situation brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic and microchip shortages, the dealership has extended its support to its local areas.

“We know people need help right now,” John Demith, sales and marketing representative and public relations manager at Baumann Auto Group in Tiffin, told The Advertiser-Tribune. “Times are tough. This is our way of reaching out to help people get through this.”

Baumann Auto Group gave to No One Fights Alone ($5,000), Morrison House ($10,000), Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment ($5,000), First Step in Fostoria, ($5,000) and Tiffin-Seneca United Way ($5,000).

Local charities were chosen by each Baumann dealership location. The organizations were selected based on the values and experiences of their staff. In particular, the Tiffin team had a personal connection to No One Fights Alone, The Advertiser-Tribune reported. The organization supports cancer patients as they undergo treatment.

Baumann has a total of eight locations, which include the Chevrolet-Buick-GMC dealership on West Market Street. In total, the group has donated $200,000 this summer. The donations are separate from the yearly raffle Baumann has been doing for the past 19 years.
