Pasadena-based Fox Dealer made two milestones in its focus on delivering stellar customer service.

It has recently acquired Simplext Digital and has partnered with LetzChat. In partnering with the software company and with the acquisition of the text solution service, Fox Dealer offers a more convenient and simpler transaction for car-buying customers who prefer text messaging.

"We have been looking for texting and chat tools that will further our efforts in helping dealers streamline their direct communication with customers, improving engagement and ultimately generating sales," Fox Dealer CEO GianCarlo Alabastro told Cision PR Newswire. "These new technologies complement our existing website, advertising and digital retailing platforms, and will be available within that structure or as a stand-alone tool."

Fox Dealer understands how texting can provide a more personalized and direct conversation between customers and a dealership’s staff -- sales or service representative -- compared with automated tools.

Simplext Digital offers sales-driven communication in an easy-to-use format and real-time messaging. LetzChat, on the other hand, would provide Fox Dealer access to a first-to-market text-and-chat tool capable of immediately translating text and website content in more than 1,000 languages, according to Cision PR Newswire.

Simplext Digital’s acquisition follows the unveiling of Fox Chat, a live text and video service. Through Fox Chat, customers and dealership staff can easily discuss choices, available vehicle inventory using screen share, see vehicle walk-arounds with live video and take a first look at the customer's trade-in.
