Housing 42 repair bays and six downdraft paint booths is the soon-to-be largest auto body repair facility in the Midwest, the Broadway Collision Center.

Broadway Automotive started the construction on the 70,000-square-foot collision center in Green Bay, which will be located at 2650 South Ashland Ave. in the village of Ashwaubenon, a suburb of Green Bay, Wisconsin.

"In addition to creating a state-of-the-art collision repair facility, moving our current collision operations will open up much-needed space for our Chevrolet and Volkswagen operations, allowing us to grow these business segments as well," Michael Cuene, co-owner and managing partner of Broadway Automotive, told Cision PR Newswire.

With construction beginning this month, the Broadway Collision Center is expected to be completed and opened by the end of the year. Other Broadway's collision repair facilities, on Military Avenue in Green Bay and on Grand Avenue in Manitowoc, will continue to operate at their current locations.

The center is adjacent to the Broadway Automotive Chevrolet and Volkswagen dealerships located at 2700 Ashland Ave. A part of the building will house dealership administrative personnel.

Broadway Automotive has been a family-owned and operated dealership group since 1916 and is now “entering our third generation of family ownership in the careful hands of David Cuene and Michael Cuene,” according to Broadway Automotive's website.
