A Utah auto dealership made a special donation to special-needs students.

Droubay Motors of Delta, Utah, provided “pumper cars” needed in the physical therapy and care of special-needs students within the school district. Pumper cars are specifically designed for children ages five through 12 who have therapeutic needs.

“We’re so appreciative to the Droubays and Droubay Motors for donating these cars to the district. They’re expensive items we wouldn’t have been able to purchase on our own, and the Droubays have donated five of them and counting,” Kane County School District Director of Federal Programs Chris Kupfer told Southern Utah News. “We’re so grateful to them for their generosity."

Rob and Jill Droubay, proprietors of Droubay Motors, teamed up with other Utah dealerships to donate two pumper cars to the Kane County School District. They are still looking at the possibility of donating more of the cars to various schools statewide.

The Droubays also visited Valley Elementary School and Kanab High School and presented each campus with two cars, according to Southern Utah News.

The Droubays have come a long way. They started Droubay Chevrolet and Buick when they purchased the business from Jill’s family in 1991. It has been family-owned and operated since then.
