Florida-based Ed Morse Automotive Group: 'Our entrance into Missouri is exciting'

Four additional Missouri dealerships have been added to the 24 store locations of Ed Morse Automotive Group.

The 75-year-old Florida-based company has acquired four dealerships in Lebanon, Saint Robert and Rolla, Missouri, and is projected to add more than 150 employees to its current workforce.

Ed Morse has acquired three dealerships from Lindsay Auto Group: Lindsay Chevrolet at 285 W. Elm Street, Lebanon; Lindsay Ford at 260 W. Elm Street, Lebanon; and Lindsay Chrysler Dodge at 809 Missouri Ave., Saint Robert; and one from Fairground Auto Group: Fairground Auto Plaza at 100 Fairgrounds Road, Rolla. The stores are now known as Ed Morse Chevrolet, Ed Morse Ford, Ed Morse Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram and Ed Morse Chevrolet Buick GMC, respectively.

The Ed Morse Automotive Group has been family-owned since its establishment in 1946.

It has grown to more than 1,400 employees, 42 franchises and 15 automotive brands, The Rolla Daily News reported.
