Phil Long Dealerships, based in Colorado Springs, have been rated by a Colorado publication as "Best Car Dealer."

The Mountain Jackpot News placed Phil Long Dealerships at its gold spot in the Best Car Dealership winners. The Colorado group of dealerships took to its Facebook page to say it is honored to have been bestowed this award.

"At Phil Long, we pride ourselves in parts, service and sales," Jay Cimino, CEO of Phil Long Dealerships, said in a YouTube video.

The publication recognized Phil Long for its service and quality of vehicles and the various deals it has offered during the pandemic. The dealership’s vast inventory, offering over 3,000 new and used vehicles, was also a factor in being named as the best dealership in the area.

The company traces its roots back to the end of World War II when its namesake and his partner purchased Vollmer Brothers Ford and changed the name to Doenges-Long Ford, thus beginning more than a half century legacy of car dealerships.

Philip Long bought out his partner, Doenges, in 1964. In 1975 he brought Cimino in to be his partner, general manager and later the company’s CEO. Through the years, the company has received honors for its record-breaking sales, superior customer service and community service, among others.
