Work typically comes with its share of stress.

CarLotz founder and CEO Michael Bor understands this, saying that team members with access to care for their mental health have the best on-the-job experience.

Companies need to continue developing a positive culture that embodies both individual and organizational well-being, according to Entrepreneur.com's Angela Kambouris, to which Bor agreed.

"I think one of the most important roles leaders have today is being a good steward of their team's #MentalHealth and wellness,” Bor wrote on Twitter, sharing Kambouris’ article. “Creating a great #EmployeeExperience should be a top priority."

Work stress can be a result of several factors, such as workloads and job security, which in time affects employee productivity, engagement and overall health.

April is Stress Awareness Month, which is dedicated to increasing awareness of the impact of stress and how to cope with it.  A Gallup Poll revealed that 80% of American employees suffer some type of stress at work, and a half among them say they need help in being able to manage stress, Forbes reported.

As for CarLotz, a less-stressful situation: It has opened its first Tennessee-based hub. It is located at 1821 Gallatin Pike North in Madison, Tennessee, and this marks the ninth southeast opening for CarLotz and its 11th in the country, according to GlobeNewswire.
