America's Car-Mart, Inc. recently released its pilot corporate responsibility report intended to enhance the organization's transparency, the company said in a press release.

The inaugural report, “Keeping You on the Road,” highlights America’s Car-Mart’s business statistics, programs and events including environmental, social and governance (ESG) activities through Jan. 31, 2021.

“This principle of ‘doing the right thing’ comes through in both our achievements and our commitments to various stakeholders," President and Chief Executive Officer Jeff Williams said in the release.

As part of the company’s effort to bring forth its continuous commitment to its customers and to society, America’s Car-Mart re-branded in December by launching its new logo and the “Keeping You on the Road” tagline, which is now both reflected in the report.

Today, the company is assessing its own carbon footprint as part of its environmental stewardship as a way of knowing how its current activities will impact the future. Understanding that the company does not have comprehensive data on how it affects the climate, the study will aid America's Car-Mart to set goals and directions to achieve these.

The automotive retailing company headquartered in Rogers, Arkansas, currently has 151 automotive dealerships in 12 states including Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. Since 2002, the business has seen over a 10% compound annual growth rate.
