San Tan Hyundai in Gilbert, Arizona, recently earned the 2020 Top Service Satisfaction Dealer Award for the fourth consecutive year.
The annual national award given by Earnhardt Auto Centers is calculated from customer reviews of the dealership service department as tabulated by third-party website SureCritic. With its 2020 award, San Tan Hyundai has now bagged the coveted Hyundai Star honor in each of the last four years.
"We appreciate this recognition, especially as it reflects on the dedication and commitment of our hardworking mechanics," San Tan Hyundai General Manager Tom Scheurn said in a press release. "It certainly reinforces our goal of providing better diagnostics, honest estimates and thorough repairs."
Earnhardt Auto Vice President of Marketing Chris Kerr stated that the dealership now has a 97% approval rating.
"If you read over the 2020 SureCritic customer reviews, you'll see positive comments about the staff, the quality of the work, and the value pricing," he said.
Scheurn said this last year has been unlike any other across the industry, given the lingering COVID-19 crisis and all its impact on car dealerships.
"The year 2020 was challenging for every person and every business," Scheurn said in the release. “That's why this year's award means even more than the three previous ones. It reflects well on our efforts to sustain our level of uncompromising service, despite all of the demands of the quarantine and COVID-related cleanliness."
In keeping with company policy aimed at combating the spread of the virus, San Tan Hyundai now offers No Bull Service, which mandates plastic gloves for all employees, plastic covers on the seats and steering wheels, reduced guest-employee contact and six feet of separation in waiting areas.
The San Tan Hyundai service department handles full auto repairs for all brands of vehicles, including rapid oil change services, complete battery services and a full-service tire department.
