The Automotive Trade Association Executives (ATAE) elected Scott Lambert, president of Minnesota Automobile Dealers Association (MADA), as its 2021 chairman in a recent virtual election.

Lambert has been with MADA for more than 30 years and became president in 2000. Since 2010, he has been simultaneously steering the wheel of MADA and the Greater Metropolitan Automobile Dealers Association of Minnesota.

“I am honored to serve as the 2021 ATAE chairman,” Lambert said in a press release issued by the National Automotive Dealers Association (NADA). “Operating a dealership in today’s ever-changing business environment has been complicated by the coronavirus pandemic, and I look forward to working alongside the more than 100 state and metro franchised new-car dealer associations across the U.S. and Canada to support the legislative, regulatory and business needs of dealers at the state and local levels.”

ATAE is composed of more than 100 state and metro new car and commercial truck dealer associations in the U.S. and Canada, according to NADA.
