AutoNations appoints new independent director

AutoNation, Inc. Board of Directors has recently appointed Norman Jenkins to the company’s board.

Jenkins, president and CEO of Capstone Development, will serve as AutoNation’s independent director.

Apart from his ability in leading his more-than-a-decade company which develops and acquires hospitality real estate, he brings with him his relevant experience in public-private partnerships, executive and seniors roles including his 16-year tenure with Marriott International Inc, North American Lodging Development and finance and operations positions with McDonald’s Corporation.

A certified accountant, Jenkins has graduated from Howard University with a bachelor's degree in accounting and from George Washington University where he earned his MBA, according to PR Newswire.

AutoNation Chairman and CEO Mike Jackson welcomes Jenkins and is thrilled about Jenkins' addition to the board.
