Asbury Automotive Group President and CEO David Hult has been named a 2020 Automotive News All-Star, according to the company’s Facebook page.
Hult was recognized for his agile leadership.
During the uncomfortable period brought about by COVID-19, he was able to strategically prioritize the safety of Asbury team members and clients and usher the organization through its biggest acquisition in Asbury’s history.
Additionally, this year’s economic and industry challenges didn’t stop him to provide time to work with his team on innovation.
Asbury will soon be introducing its new digital retailing platform, Clicklane.
“You have to have a passion for what you do,” Hult told Automotive News. “You have to believe in yourself and believe in what you're doing and the cause. The cause is so important to get you through your journey and enjoy the journey. Embrace the journey. Understand there is a personal side, there’s work relationship. See the bigger picture. Enjoy the ride and look for mentors along the way.”
