This National Homeless Youth Awareness Month, Subaru is donating 50,000 blankets to 600 homeless shelters in different locations, one of which is Valley Mission.

Valley Mission, a private shelter that has been providing support and hope to the homeless since 1971, has recently received 80 blankets from Carter Myers Automotive's (CMA) Valley Subaru.

The shelter currently has 60 residents, all of whom get a new blanket from CMA’s Valley Subaru to keep them warm especially throughout the winter season.

Valley Mission and its assistant executive director, Michelle Waitier, send out their appreciation to CMA’s Valley Subaru, according to cartermyersautomotive.com.

“Our community is so lucky to have the Valley Mission here, so when they said you need to pick a homeless shelter, we said it’s a no brainer. We’ll just go down to the Valley Mission because they do such a fantastic job for our community,” Scott Simons, Managing Partner for CMA’s Valley Subaru, said.
