Through a partnership with U.S. Bank and Freedom Alliance’s Driven to Serve program, Asbury Automotive Group has recently presented a 2018 Dodge Journey to Retired U.S. Army Cpl. Helmer “Jonny” Flores.

Cpl. Flores sustained a brain injury, post-traumatic stress and had a leg amputated after his vehicle was struck by an IED blast in Iraq.

In honor of his sacrifices and bravery, Cpl. Flores, who is also a 2018 awardee of the Purple Heart Medal, is not only getting a vehicle donation from U.S. Bank but Courtesy Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram has also pledged to donate three years of repair services to assist with the maintenance of his new vehicle.

The auto group is pleased to be part of giving back to veterans. In its recent Facebook status, Asbury posted, “We're honored to recognize and support veterans and their families, such as Cpl. Flores’ for their dedication and the sacrifices that they have made for our country.”
