AutoNation stores in Miami-Dade and Broward County are accepting donations of unwrapped toys from Nov. 9 through Sunday, Dec. 6 in connection with AutoNation’s partnership with Neighbors 4 Neighbors.

The auto retailer is "adopting" 50 local families through the organization’s Adopt a Family 4 the Holidays Program.

"South Florida is home to our Corporate Headquarters, 31 AutoNation locations and thousands of Associates who care about making our community a better place," Marc Cannon, AutoNation's chief customer experience officer said. "We are looking forward to providing deserving families with the resources they may need for joyful holiday celebrations."

Katy Meagher, executive director at Neighbors 4 Neighbors, said she and the organization is grateful for outstanding community partners like AutoNation, according to autonation.com.

In addition to helping out local communities through collaboration with nonprofit organizations, AutoNation is also an advocate of cancer research and treatment.

It has recently raised more than $25 million to drive out cancer through its DRV PNK mission.
