Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has recently appointed former Director of Finance Takeshi Nishiki as chief financial officer.

With his immediate appointment, Nishiki is expected to bring the organization forward with agility by ensuring that his role is able to optimize and wisely use the company’s financial resources, according to PR Newswire.

He has been with Mazda since 2005 handling various roles including being a part of the corporate product profit control division until 2010, working in the corporate planning division until 2015, leading the regional profit in the EU, Russia, Australia, and South American markets, and subsequently became MNAO’s Director of finance four years ago.

"Takeshi Nishiki's 15 years of global experience with Mazda makes him an ideal fit to oversee MNAO's financial resources," MNAO President Jeff Guyton said. "He'll guide Mazda's ongoing production developments in Alabama and Mexico, grow Mazda Financial Services offerings and play an instrumental role in helping Mazda attain increased market share."
