Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) saw a good performance for the month of October.
MNAO achieved a 16.5% sales growth with 22,736 vehicles sold for October 2020 compared to the same month last year despite a 0.7% decline in its year-to-date sales which only totaled 226,016 units versus 227,687 during the same period a year ago.
Apart from MNAO’s sales gain in October 2020, it also posted a 12.3% increase on its Daily Selling Rate (DSR) basis plus CPO sales increased by 24% compared to October 2019 achieving its best October with 6,310 vehicles sold.
Likewise, it is the best October ever for CX-5 with 11,890 vehicles sold and second-best October for CX-9 with 2,382 vehicles sold.
MX-5 also recorded its best October from five years ago with 851 units sold.
While MNAO drove a satisfactory ride in October, Mazda Motor de Mexico sales dropped to approximately over 4% compared to the same month last year and a 26% decline in its year-to-date sales, according to PR Newswire.
