Sheehy Auto Stores has recently awarded a check worth $250,500 to the American Heart Association which was raised from its 23rd annual Sheehy 8000 Sales Race held from July 17 to Sept. 8.

"The Sheehy 8000 continues to be our biggest annual sales event and fundraising partnership," president of Sheehy Auto Stores, Vince Sheehy, said. "During the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important now more than ever to stay well through heart healthy diets and exercise. Our partnership with the American Heart Association enables them to continue their great work and community support."

To date, Sheehy has raised more than $1.7 million for the American Heart Association helping the organization execute its mission to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke, according to PR Newswire.

Soula Antoniou, executive director at the American Heart Association, is grateful for Sheehy’s support during this crisis.

Sheehy 8000 is a community-wide effort in which all of Sheehy’s 29 dealerships do their best to sell 8,000 cars and trucks to help increase awareness and funds to benefit the American Heart Association.
