The Village of Libertyville is supporting local businesses and rewarding customers through its recently relaunched "Shop Libertyville Rewards" program.

This month’s first 30 customers (buyers or leases) of new vehicles in any of 12 Libertyville's auto dealerships will be eligible for vouchers that can be redeemed from the Village for $100 in Libertyville Rewards certificates ($200 for Libertyville incorporated residents).

"Vehicle-related businesses are crucial to our local economy through their sales taxes, employment, connections to other local business and their ongoing support of community events and organizations. We are happy to be able to reward customers for shopping Libertyville's Mile of Cars and to extend the purchasing power of the Rewards certificates throughout the community," Libertyville Mayor Terry Weppler said in a press release from Libertyville.

The Village of Libertyville is a north suburban Chicago community that has approximately more than 20,000 residents and 900 businesses, according to PR Newswire.
