Jim Ellis Automotive Group is proud to have raised $35,000 for Atlanta Beats COVID (ABC) during its Jim Ellis Labor Day Sales Event.

The Labor Day Sales Event, which was held from Aug. 31 to Sept. 7, was an avenue to support ABC in providing personal protective equipment (PPE) to teachers and students in Georgia.

For each vehicle sold during the event, Jim Ellis made a donation to ABC, according to the Jim Ellis Automotive Group website.

ABC is an ad-hoc group of volunteers and Atlanta-area industry experts collaborating to provide health care persons and other essential workers with PPE's.

“We wanted to aid ABC on their fabulous work in helping teachers, educators and students have personal protective equipment, like face shields, that will help keep them safe during this very challenging time of getting back to school,” Jimmy Ellis, president of Jim Ellis Automotive Group, said. “We really wanted to support them in purchasing more material so they can continue making PPE for those who desperately need it.”
