All Walser Automotive Group retail branches in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area will be accepting nonperishable food donations in support of Second Harvest Heartland from Oct. 5 to 17 as part of Walser’s Drive To End Hunger.

Financial donations are another option to support Second Harvest Heartland – a dollar donation can help the organization provide three meals to the community.

Part of the drive is Walser’s support to Kansas Food Bank which will be funded from the donations made at the Walser Auto Campus in Wichita.

Also, the Walser Foundation will be donating one dollar for every pound collected to each food bank, according to Walser.com.

The drive is in response to the increasing need to feed underserved children, families and communities, especially during this COVID-19 situation.

Walser understands the challenge every organization is currently facing to address the growing demand for food assistance necessary to fight today’s unprecedented food insecurity and continues to drive change for a better future.
