Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has recently appointed Brad Audet as chief marketing officer (CMO).

Audet who now reports to Executive Vice President Jim Lievois has been MNAO’s marketing stellar since Dino Bernacchi’s resignation in March.

“Brad has been leading the marketing team as interim CMO since March and has successfully guided our marketing operations during this time of unprecedented uncertainty and volatility," MNAO President Jeff Guyton said. "Looking ahead, I am confident Brad will continue this trajectory, leading a seamlessly integrated marketing division that adapts quickly and intelligently to the ever-changing consumer landscape."

Mazda National Dealer Advisory Council Chairman Jim McDonald recognizes Audet’s fresh perspective to marketing approach especially during the time Audet stepped into his chief marketing officer interim role at a time COVID-19 has affected numerous businesses including the automotive industry.

Audet has previously served as EVP of Garage Team Mazda and served as a strategic counselor to the Mazda executive team, according to PR Newswire.
