Toyota Motor North America (TMNA) has recently launched an online education hub focused on its products and manufacturing processes incorporating a series of free STEM-based lessons and curriculum through Toyota USA Foundation partners.

Through these lessons, audiences can learn the science behind some of the automaker’s core philosophies and find out how it is building the future of mobility while leveraging the power of artificial intelligence to enhance protection while driving/riding its vehicles.

Virtual hub visitors will have the opportunity to remotely stop by and look around various U.S. Toyota manufacturing facilities, according to PR Newswire.

"This virtual education hub and the plant tours provide a digital window into our world and the guiding philosophies behind our manufacturing processes and products, including Continuous Improvement and Respect for People," Chris Reynolds, TMNA chief administrative officer, Manufacturing and Corporate Resources, said.

Reynolds also said that the hub was created to inspire many, including those from groups which are underrepresented in STEM jobs, or those who are in the communities where job opportunities are needed, to be looking forward to starting their path toward a career in STEM, and possibly attract them to join Toyota in the future.
