In these changing times, Dealers United is fueling the ongoing transformation in the automotive industry.

The Florida-based company touts itself as “a Facebook-based digital advertising agency for the industry” that was quick to answer the call in the face of COVID-19, offering new methods of operation for an industry that has traditionally served customers in a face-to-face capacity.

Working with agencies across the country, the upstart operation has helped dealerships far and wide remain top-of-mind within their market area by selling "playbooks" focused on such options including safe service practices and sanitation and awareness of digital retailing.

One dealership now held up as a model of what could be is Cavalier Ford Greenbriar in Chesapeake, Virginia, which has seen a 26% sales increase. And in New York, Middletown Honda used one Facebook ad to accumulate at least 39 sales, while nearby D’ELLA Honda credits Dealer United with helping to generate nearly 300 leads for the Queensbury-based dealership.

All of it was enough to aid Power Ford of Albuquerque New Mexico in making the decision to shift thousands of its advertising budget to Facebook ads, with company officials now estimating that as much as 28% of its sales derive from targeted ads.

"Those who flow with the times not only survive, but ultimately thrive,” said Dealer United CEO Peter Petersen. “Our company offers an array of Facebook advertising packages that can be customized to the needs of the dealership, thus helping to guide them through these challenging times. And because we are a Facebook Marketing Partner, our Dealer-Partners enjoy enhanced technical support, exclusive invitations to alpha and beta tests, and a first look at the newest product releases.”

In the end, Petersen said Dealer United stands on one overriding principle.

“We are here for one reason, do everything possible to support dealers in their efforts to sustain and grow their business," he said.
