Chad Leavitt, chief accounting officer of Findlay Automotive, has been named to Automotive News’ 40 under 40.

Automotive News recognizes Leavitt for introducing various ideas and new processes that had positively affected Findlay such as consolidating 32 individual auctions each week into one group auction.

Furthermore, Leavitt had likewise consolidated human resources functions which were previously separate across the group.

The streamlined approach Leavitt had introduced became exceptionally beneficial during these times when the dealership group paid 75% of salaries to its over 2,200 employees while their dealerships were closed.

“It’s a real honor,” Leavitt said in an interview published on Findlay.com when asked how he felt about the recognition. “I have always had a passion for Automotive. When I was a kid I loved Hot Wheels but not the weird cars, I liked the realistic ones. I actually used to build car dealerships with them.”

The Automotive News’ 40 under 40, is already on its ninth year recognizing individuals making a huge impact in their organization.
