The Jim Ellis Automotive Group will soon be offering a deal it hopes no customer can refuse.

During its week-long Labor Day Sales Event from Monday, Aug. 31 to Monday, Sept. 7, for every vehicle sold, the Atlanta-based dealership will make a donation to Atlanta Beats Covid (ABC) to support the production and distribution of personal protective equipment to teachers and special need students across the area.

“We’re honored and excited to team up with Atlanta Beats Covid to provide face shields for teachers and students through our Labor Day Sales Event,” said Stacey Ellis, vice president of Jim Ellis Automotive Group. “Our hope is that we can help provide comfort and safety to those doing the important job of teaching our children.”

Jim Ellis staffers are hoping the PPE provided by the dealership will help fill a void at schools not able to offer needed supplies for whatever reason. Over the week-long event, consumers can shop in-person at any one of the dealership’s 18 family-owned and operated facilities or online by using the Jim Ellis Express Way.

In business for nearly the last half-century, Jim Ellis Automotive Group offer brands that include the Alfa Romeo, Audi, Buick, Chevrolet, GMC, Genesis, Hyundai, Kia, Maserati, Mazda, Porsche, Toyota, Volkswagen and Volvo. During the Labor Day event, each dealership is slated to offer special incentives for their new and pre-owned inventories.

ABC touts itself as an ad hoc group of volunteer makers, engineers, fabricators, seamsters and other Southeast industry experts that was recently founded to address the sizable PPE shortage facing medical workers that has now expanded operations to aid educators as the virus continues to linger. Over the last five months, ABC has provided more than 28,000 pieces of PPE to the Atlanta community and nearly 2,400 face shields to area schools since July of this year.
