Fred Beans Automotive Group has recently contributed $15,000 to YMCA for its summer camp financial program, according to Bucks Local News.
The program supports local children who want to attend summer camp with scholarships awarded to them through an application process.
In 2019, the automotive company has donated $10,000 to the Central Bucks YMCA, which significantly added to the total of $154,590 in financial assistance received for the summer camp which was attended by 168 children.
This year, Fred Beans decided to increase its financial support to YMCA by $5,000 in recognition of the added financial assistance needed due to the current COVID-19 pandemic.
YMCA of Bucks County President and CEO Zane Moore is pleased with the Fred Beans Automotive Group’s additional financial support.
“We can always count on the Fred Beans Automotive Group to be there for the community when help is needed,” Moore said. “On behalf of the families who will benefit, I say thank you.”
