Headquarter Nissan to hold 10th annual blood drive

Headquarter Nissan will be hosting its yearly community blood drive in celebration of their 10th year.

The blood drive will be held from 2 to 7 p.m., on Tuesday, Aug. 18 at Headquarter Nissan’s showroom located at 1725 Whittlesey Rd, Columbus, GA 31904.

Headquarter Nissan’s 10th Annual Community Blood Drive, which will be held in partnership with the American Red Cross, is intended to boost the low blood supply in its local community.

Each donation will be automatically tested for COVID-19 antibodies. Test results will be released within seven to 10 days and will be available via the Red Cross app and website.

The donors will also receive a coupon for a free oil change. Food and refreshments will be available.

The dealership, through its Facebook post, has invited the community to participate in the blood drive.
