Ancira is supporting the Family Service Back to School Ready events with its Ancira Backpack Drive.
Believing that every child should be given the opportunity to learn, the Ancira Back Pack Drive helps Family Service accept backpack donations at any Ancira’s San Antonio, Boerne, and Floresville locations until Friday, July 31. Backpacks can be of any size and age range.
Ancira has posted the call for donations on its Facebook page. Over the years, it has been helping children to be school-ready with its backpack donations. This year, COVID-19 has brought changes to almost everything including education but this does not change its direction in supporting a learner’s need.
In a press release from KSAT.com, President and CEO of Family Service Mary Garr thanks all partners supporting the Family Service Back to School Ready events.
“Every year, we hold back-to-school drives to support the children in our community,” Garr said. “With so many individuals and families affected by COVID-19, we need your support now more than ever. Helping our children in an already tough learning environment is critical. We are thankful for our continued partnerships and ask through these partners, please support our children in whatever way you can. Your support ensures our students’ success during what will be a challenging school year.”
