For the month of June, #SheDrivesCochran is celebrating Candice Bowman.
Bowman is a sales consultant at #1 Cochran Mazda of Monroeville who has made June, the Pride Month of the LGBTQIA+ community, a more significant one not only for the group but as well as for Cochran.
She has donated $25 from every car sale to the PGH Equality Project, an organization supporting the diverse community.
“I was so excited to finally give this a go,” Bowman said. “They’re a local nonprofit that offers resources and support to LGBTQIA+ individuals, families and supporters while also promoting visibility, understanding and equality within the LGBTQIA+ community and communities at large.”
She has been with Cochran for six years, a lot attendant at first but has moved to sales after six months when she was asked by her manager if she wanted to get into sales.
“I love the brand that I work for, and Cochran is always trying to make it a better place to work for its employees,” Bowman added.
Cochran commends Bowman for her work as she is always keen to improve things including her efforts to acknowledge the importance of supporting the community.
