Miller Auto is being acquired by Gilleland Chevrolet but it will keep its name.
Miller Auto owner Tom Miller is glad to handover the eight-decade company to Gilleland Chevrolet.
"Gilleland has been a tough competitor over the years and (he) is proud to sell to a local company that treats their employees well," he said.
There are currently over 200 Miller Auto and Marine employees.
At present, Miller Auto and Marine carries new models of GMC, Buick, Lincoln and Nissan, plus a wide selection of pre-owned makes and models, and is located at 2930 2nd St S, St. Cloud MN 56301.
He also mentioned that Gilleland has asked to keep the Miller Auto name.
The Miller Marine dealership stays with Miller and his partner Chance Haakonson but would need to move into an indoor showroom located in the old Walmart building adjacent to the current Miller Auto Plaza.
