Sterling McCall Acura, in collaboration with the Houston Independent School District, honors two teachers with 2020 Acura RDX SUV for them to drive throughout summer.
The two 2020 Acura RDX Luxury Crossover SUVs, which was a surprise to both teachers, were both delivered straight to their front doors.
Rebecca Hiatt, a seventh grade teacher at Baylor College of Medicine Biotech Academy at Rusk and Rebecca Busse, a special education teacher at Bush Elementary school are this year’s Houston Independent School District Educator of the Year recipients.
“The commitment, ingenuity, and proficiency of these educators have been evident all year and once the district moved to closed-but-instructing status, these teachers never wavered,” said Grenita Lathan, HISD Interim Superintendent, according Group 1 Automotive. “If anything, they took their performance to the next level.”
It has been three years since Group 1 Automotive and Sterling McCall Group have partnered to recognize exceptional educators from the Houston Independent School District.
