Maine Honda Dealers is excited to share that it has donated $3,000 to six local schools to ensure that no child goes hungry especially during this pandemic.

Each Honda dealership in the group has chosen a particular school to support.

Berlin City Honda, Charlie's Honda, Darling's Honda, Griffeth Honda, Lee Honda and Prime Honda Saco were the Maine Honda dealers who donated to Gorham's BackPack, Marcia Buker Elementary School, Stillwater Academy, Presque Isle School Administrative District #1, Auburn Public Schools and Fairfield School Summer Meals Program, respectively.

Yegor Malinovskii, President of Maine Honda Dealers and Market President at Berlin City Auto Group, said that many children depend on lunch provided at their school, who during this tough time may miss one meal because schools are closed.

"Taking care of our community, especially our young growing minds, is very important to the Maine Honda Dealers," Malinovskii said. "A lot of students rely on school-provided lunches, and with schools closed because of COVID-19, many children lost the guarantee of at least one daily meal. This is a great way to ensure Maine's children are still eating."
