This year’s Hyundai Hands on Hope contest has brought together Washington Area Hyundai Dealers, The Washington Auto Show, Children’s National Hospital and Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center to help fight pediatric cancer.

Running from Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, the Hands on Hope 50 Hours for $100,000 event allows contestants to compete for a brand new 2020 Hyundai Venue over the 50-hour contest period, requiring them to remain in physical contact with the Venue for all 50 hours with 15-minute breaks every three hours.

Six contestants will be chosen from a pool of employees from Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center and Children’s National Hospital. Three from each will form “Team Georgetown Lombardi” and “Team Children’s National.”

In addition to being awarded the brand new 2020 Hyundai Venue, the winning team’s medical center will receive a $60,000 pediatric cancer research grant. The runner-up will receive a $40,000 pediatric cancer research grant.
