Penske Truck Leasing has recently relocated operations from its existing Kalamazoo, Michigan facility to a new, larger and completely renovated building at 5316 Wynn Rd., also in Kalamazoo.
The new facility will provide clients with various services such as consumer and commercial truck rental, full-service truck leasing and contract truck-fleet maintenance. Equipped with the company's proprietary, fully digital and voice-directed truck fleet preventive maintenance process and connected fleet solutions, the 19,360-square-foot facility sits on 4.75 acres with seven truck bays and one wash bay.
"Our previous building no longer suited our needs," Penske North Central Region Senior Vice President Mike Pritchard said in a press release. "Our customer base in the region is growing and we required more space to service the agricultural, manufacturing and various other customers we have in the area. We are now conveniently located right off I-94, offering customers easy access to a major thoroughfare between Detroit and Chicago."
Penske, which recently celebrated its 50-year anniversary, anticipates job vacancies in Kalamazoo as part of its business expansion.
