Friendly Auto Group opens Honda dealership in Syracuse

The Friendly Auto Group recently added another store in New York state with the Sept. 26 grand opening of Friendly Honda of Fayetteville, located on East Genesee Street.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the event, which was led by Eric Kahn, President & CEO of Friendly Auto Group. The new dealership will embrace the ideologies behind the company's longtime slogan: "Friendly Prices, Friendly Service, Friendly Auto Group" as it serves the greater Syracuse market.

"We are honored that Honda has chosen the Friendly Auto Group to represent its brand in the Syracuse market," Kahn said in a press release. "We have a longstanding relationship with Honda and look forward to working with them to dramatically increase Honda's presence in the area."

The new facility is approximately 25,000-square-foot, comprising a five-vehicle showroom and 15 service bays. The area was previously occupied by Jay’s Village Chevrolet and then Powerhouse Chevrolet.

"The facility was carefully designed to support making the customer experience at Friendly Honda the friendliest, most convenient and comfortable dealership experience in Syracuse," General Manager Jim Rightmyer said in the release.
