J.D. Power recently announced the launch of Value My Car, a tool for dealership websites. Value My Car is a lead generation tool offered at an introductory price of $75 per month with no contract required, that can be placed by dealers on their websites to generate leads for possible sales opportunities.
The J.D. Power consumer brand lead generation tool gives website visitors to get a preliminary value of their vehicle; all they need to do is input their vehicle and contact information. Consumers will then be encouraged to receive an in-person vehicle appraisal by visiting the dealer.
"The new tool has two simple objectives: provide dealers with qualified leads and increase their used car inventory," said Jonathan Banks, vice president of vehicle valuations at J.D. Power. "This will not only provide a service to a potential customer as a first touch-point but will ensure potential sales opportunities for the dealerships are being tracked."
