Mercedes-Benz Vans posted 9.1 percent U.S. sales growth in 2018

Mercedes-Benz Vans has reported its U.S. December sales of 4,116 units which added to its year’s numbers, ending 2018 with a volume of 38,178 units.

“We are pleased with our record-breaking year for Mercedes-Benz Vans in 2018,” Mercedes-Benz Vans Vice President and Managing Director Robert Veit said. “We look forward to further momentum with our new Sprinter that launched this past year.”

2018 was a significant year for Mercedes-Benz Vans as it opened its new Sprinter plant, which has a part-by-part production facility with a body shop, paint shop and final assembly line.

Sprinter brings better hauling options with Gross Vehicle Weight ratings ranging from 8,550 to 12,250 lbs. Additionally, it also comes with a 2.0L 4-Cylinder Turbo Gasoline engine with 9-speed transmission, and a 3.0L V6 Turbo Diesel engine with 7-speed transmission.

Mercedes-Benz Vans will be featured at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas this month.
